Topics include but are not limited to:

Medicinal Plant Walk ~ Darcey and Sean lead participants on a gentle hike through forests and fields, introducing them to wild medicinal plants in their natural environment.

Plant Spirit Journey ~ A plant walk for the soul. Through shamanic trance work, participants interact directly with the spirit of a plant to learn about its medicine and occasionally receive personal healing or guidance. No experience necessary.

Listening To The Wild ~ The world is alive and speaking to us – we just have to remember to listen. In this workshop, we explore the history of how we lost our connection to the wild, and work to regain our connection with the wildness within us and around us.

Green Medicine ~ We are brought up to believe that health care is something we receive from doctors who give us drugs made in factories to fix the broken down machines we call our bodies. But for most people around the world throughout history, our bodies and the world around them were alive, and medicine came from the plants that grew from the ground where they lived, helping their bodies find what they needed to exchange balance. Everyone knew a little bit about what the plants had to give, and a few in each village learned to talk to the plants and unlock their secrets. Explore the history of how and why this original science and art of wild green medicine was suppressed, how it was kept alive at the edges of our culture, and how all of us can begin bringing it back into our lives to heal our bodies, our spirits, our communities, and our planet.

Light Your Fire: Herbs For Digestive Health ~ All traditional healing systems believe that the digestive system is the seat of good health. Often times if we are not well, the root lies in imbalance or improper function of the digestive system. In this class discover how to support and maintain the good health and proper functioning of your digestive fire, and how to address common digestive complaints. We will also talk about the importance of right diet and eating patterns and managing chronic digestive health issues through herbs and diet.

Herbs For Stress ~ The constant stress of modern life contributes to most of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health problems people face today. We explore the biology of stress and talk about ways of using herbs and nutrition to help the body develop healthier responses to stress.

Herbs For The Immune System ~ Stress, environmental pollution, unhealthy food, and the overuse of pharmaceuticals all take their toll on the health of our immune systems. We explore the biology of the immune system and ways of using herbs and nutrition to help restore healthy immune function.

Herbs For Sexual Health ~ Explore how stress, cardiovascular health, chemicals that disrupt hormonal balances and a host of other issues effect our sexual health — and how to use herbs and nutrition to maintain a healthy and vital sex life. This workshop can be tailored to sex or gender specific groups or to a general audience.

Herbs Foe Colds And Flus ~ An introduction to simple herbal and nutritional strategies to help your body prevent and respond to colds and flus.

Primal Nutrition ~ An introduction to the way our earliest ancestors ate – and how to adapt their nutritional wisdom to fit a modern lifestyle.

Kitchen Medicine ~ Some of the best medicine in your house may already be in your refrigerator or pantry! An exploration of the healing properties of common foods and culinary herbs.

Sean is also available to speak on the medicinal uses of Cannabis and how reforming medical marijuana laws can help change our culture’s approach to healing.
